The Barley Mow Inn is under new management!

Tim and Shannon are delighted to welcome you to their beautiful country pub. Come and enjoy delicious home-cooked food and a refreshing drink in warm and friendly surroundings.

This characterful pub has a rich history. Oliver Cromwell passed this way with his army on their trek to knock seven bells out of Corfe Castle some time ago. The nearby Gods Blessing Lane is said to be where his troops were blessed before the battle. Who knows, some of his lads may have popped into The Barley Mow for a pub lunch and a pint or two before commencing battle...!

In later times, part of the pub was the small village school and today the Barley Mow remains a hub of the community (with much education still to be had!)

There is plenty of parking and the lovely gardens are extensive, with spacious and secluded decking and grassed areas. So whether you are out for a meal or just want to enjoy a relaxing drink with family or friends, the Barley Mow is the ideal pub!
